بِبَابِكِ جِئْنَا .. وَنَطْلُبُ الإذْنَا
At your doorstep, we arrive, seeking your permission,
لِنَسْكُبَ الدَّمْعَا .. وَنُعْلِنَ الحُزْنَا
To shed our tears and proclaim our sorrow.
يا كَوْثَرَ العِصْمَة .. وَمَهْبِطَ الرَّحْمَة
O Fountain of Purity, and Abode of Mercy,
عَلَيْكِ أَقْسَمْنَا .. بِالكَسْرِ وَاللَّطْمَة
We swear by you—by the broken rib and the strike upon the face
أَقْسَمْنَا / بِضِلْعِكِ الْمَكْسُورِ
We swear by your fractured rib,
نراكِ نورًا وسطَ القبرِ
To witness your light amidst our graves.
رَجوانا / وَهَذِهِ دَعْوَانَا
This is our plea, and here is our supplication:
شَفَاعَةً مِنْكِ فِي الْحَشْرِ
Intercede for us on the Day of Reckoning.
حِرْزُ الشَّدَّاتِ .. فَاطِمَة
My refuge in hardships, Fatima,
غَوْثِي فِي الْمَوْتِ .. فَاطِمَة
My aid in death, Fatima
لَوْ فِي الْقَبْرِ طَغَى الدُّجَى
If darkness engulfs the grave,
كَانَ النِّدَاءُ .. فَاطِمَة
The call will rise: “Fatima!”
تَكْفِي لَنَا نَظْرَة .. مِنْ عَيْنِكِ الْحَمْرَا
A single glance from your eye, bloodied by the slap, suffices for us
لَا لَا تَرُدِّينَا .. يَا فَاطِمَ الزَّهْرَا
Do not turn us away, O Fatima al-Zahraa
فَرِزْقُنَا الدائِم .. مِنْ قَلْبِكِ الراحِم
Our everlasting sustenance comes from your merciful heart,
أَبْنَاؤُكِ إِنَّا .. أُمَّاهُ يَا فَاطِم
We are your children, O Mother Fatima.
حَاجَاتٌ .. لأَجْلِكِ مَنْذُورَةٌ
Vows made for your sake,
لَكِ اعْتَلَتْ فِي الْفَاطِمِيَّة
Dedicated to you, in the days of mourning for you, O Lady Fatima.
أَمَّنْ يَا .. زَهْرَا يُجِيبُ الْمُضْطَرْ
Who else but you, O Zahraa, answers the distressed,
إِذَا دَعَاكِ فِي الْبَلِيَّة
When they call upon you in their calamity?
أَدْعُو فِي الْعُسْرِ فَاطِمَة
In hardships, I call upon Fatima,
كَي أَنْجُو بِاسْمِ .. فَاطِمَة
So I may be saved by the name Fatima.
حَتْمًا تُقْضَى مَسَائِلِي
Surely, my needs are fulfilled
مِنْ تسبيحاتِ فَاطِمَة
Through Tasbeeh of Fatima (set of glorifications of Allah by Fatima)
مِنْ نَهْجِكِ الأَسْمَى .. نُعْلِّي لَكِ الْإسْمَا
From your lofty path, we glorify your name.
مِنْكِ تَعَلَّمْنَا .. أَنْ نَدْحَرَ الظُلْمَا
From you, we learned to banish oppression
ذَا اسْمُكِ الْقُدْسِي .. قَدْ كَانَ كَالشَّمْسِ
Your sacred name shines like the sun,
هَا قَدْ رَفَعْنَاهُ .. فِي عُصْبَةِ الرَّأْسِ
We've raised it high, upon the band around the head.
مَكْتُوبٌ / مَدَدْ مَدَدْ يَا زَهْرَاء
It is written: Help, help, O Zahraa!
لُذنَا بِكِ يَا أُمَّ الْعِتْرَة
We seek refuge in you, O Mother of the Pure Lineage.
مَوْلَاتِي / هَا نَحْنُ فِي الْمَأْسَاةِ
My Lady: Here we are, amidst calamity,
نَحْتَاجُ فِي الْهَيْجَاءِ نَظْرَة
Needing but one glance from you in this strife.
هَا هُمْ عُشَّاقُ فَاطِمَة
Here are the lovers of Fatima,
أَعْلَوْا رَايَاتِ فَاطِمَة
They have raised the banners of Fatima.
خَطُّوا بِالْدَّمِّ فِي اللِّوَا
They inscribed with their blood upon the banner.
يَا لِثَارَاتِ فَاطِمَة
“O for the vengeance of Fatima!”
